After graduating with an honours degree in psychology in the last century, I undertook coffee and washing up duties for the editor of a busy local London newspaper. While there, I worked my way up to senior reporter and gained the NCTJ news qualification.
One of my biggest investigative successes was to uncover hush-hush plans to close a London hospital. It's open to this day. I now write, edit and coach groups and individuals – as well as working as a freelance journalist.

Hello
As a former shy person, stories have always been a source of comfort, fun and escape, a way into worlds I'd never enter. I know I'm never going to climb Everest, as heights and icy crevasses are not my thing, but I have a fascination for the place and oodles of knowledge, thanks to those who have chronicled their expeditions. I've time-travelled, met people who are long dead, visited other worlds and have gone from laughter to tears in a flash. All thanks to a well-told story.
While these examples relate to fiction, real-life stories – business messaging and personal stories – can be equally as compelling, when done right. It takes a lateral step away from the way many of us have been taught to write to be able to put down words that reflect who we are (both for business messaging and biography).
I relish delving into the heart of a topic, or someone's life, to uncover things they often have never shared or realised. I know my position is founded on trust and I am careful to ensure my clients feel comfortable with sharing, and know that I have their best interests at heart.
Whether you want your profile or biography written, wish to improve your business literature and website, need bespoke editorial training, or wish to appear on a podcast, we can help.
